Message for Sept. 5, 2010

And I told them of the hand of my God which has been good upon me, and also of the king’s word that he has spoken to me. So they said, ‘Let us rise up and build.’ Then they set their hands to this good work. But when Sanballet the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard it, they laughed at us and despised us, and said, ‘What is this thing that you are doing? Will you rebel against the king?” (Nehemiah 2:18-19)
Whenever you attempt to do anything for the Lord there will be critics. They may deliberately or mistakenly give out false information that will affect the work you are doing. Nehemiah’s enemies falsely accused him of rebelling against the king. They did not agree with what Nehemiah was doing. But, because he was in the right, his cause was defended and completed with God’s blessing. If what you are doing is right and based on the truth of God, He will bless the work of your hand. You cannot fail. “With God all things are possible.”
